About this role :

We are currently looking for our future Site Quality Manager (M/F) for our future gigafactory located in Bourbourg (outskirts of Dunkirk, North of France).

As such, you will build from scratch the site quality team, be one of the pioneers of this production site, and be responsible for its quality performance to satisfy our customers.
Main missions :
• Decline the quality roadmap on the Dunkirk site and adjust it according to unforeseen events (technical, human), and organize the allocation of manpower to the various areas and activities.
• Define the needs associated with your activity (budget, resources), and abide by the framework validated by the company.
• Transmit instructions and information, and ensure the smooth running of teams.
• Manage key activity indicators, identify and analyze non-quality issues (defects, failure to meet deadlines, poor organization), and take preventive and corrective actions.
• Lead short-, medium-, and long-term business improvement initiatives.
• Identify the training needs of your teams, organize their skill development, and monitor the satisfaction of interested parties linked to your activity.
• Validate PPAP before the SOP and stop production if conditions for best quality are not met.
• Interact with customers for audits and potential non-conformity analysis
• Make sure that sustainability and financial discipline are embedded in all the activities you engage in.
Requirements :
• Engineering degree, preferably Mechanical Engineering
• At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in the automotive industry
• Customer satisfaction driven
• Expertise in quality core tools and Lean 6 Sigma
• A proven track record in quality performance and team management in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency in both English and French
• Knowledge of IATF and ISO standards
• Experience with cell manufacturing production and entrepreneurship would be a plus
