Position Summary

The Assistant Front Office Manager will report directly to the Front Office Manager and play a pivotal role in supporting the Rooms Division. This position is primarily responsible for efficiently managing all Front Office Operations while ensuring that guests receive the utmost level of service.

Job Responsibilities

Operations
• Coordinate the organizational and administrative functions in all areas of Front Office (i.e. Front Desk, Call Centre, Club Lounge and Concierge)
• Handle staff training and development for the department for improvements
• Be well-verse in Front Office procedures and to ensure smooth operations in the department
• Manage the Guest Relations function, ensuring customer service quality assurance and total guest satisfaction
• Manage the control costs to ensure profitability and procedure standards (i.e. Pending account, Cash float and High balance report)

Financial
• Maximize revenue by identifying opportunities including optimizing room... utilization and managing inventory effectively
• Elevate guest experiences and revenue through proactive upselling initiatives
• Assist in implementation of cost-cutting measures

Administration
• Conduct analysis of guest incidents as required
• To prepare breakfast forecast
• Review guest deposits and balances to compile High Balance Reports
• To keep track of pending accounts inside Opera system
• Prepare the Night Report
• Generate supplementary reports for data storage and comparison of month-to-date and year-to-date records
