The IT Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of the organization's information technology (IT) infrastructure, systems and operations. This role involves overseeing and handling IT projects and resources to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of technology services and support.

Scope of Work:
• Strategic Planning and Leadership:Develop and deliver IT strategies, policies and procedures aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.

Collaborate with senior management to identify technology opportunities and challenges and recommend solutions to support business objectives.
• Infrastructure Management:Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of the organization's IT infrastructure.

Ensure the security, reliability and scalability of IT systems and infrastructure, implementing best practices and industry standards for data protection and disaster recovery.

Monitor system performance and troubleshoot technical issues, coordinating with internal teams... and external vendors as needed.
• IT Operations and Support:Oversee IT operations, including help desk support, remote and/or in-person technical assistance, system administration, user access management and user onboarding/offboarding, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and service requests.

Maintain and implement IT policies and procedures aligned with the organization's goals and objectives.
• Software and Applications Management:Manage the selection, deployment and maintenance of software applications and platforms to meet business needs.

Work closely with business stakeholders to identify software requirements, evaluate options and recommend solutions that optimize efficiency and productivity.
• Budgeting and Resource Management:Support the preparation of the IT budget, forecasting expenses and allocating resources (includes hardware and software subscriptions) effectively to support initiatives and operational requirements.

Monitor IT expenditures and performance against budgetary targets, identifying opportunities for cost savings and optimization.
• Security and Compliance:Implement and maintain IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and data privacy laws, conducting audits and assessments to assess compliance posture.

Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to minimize the impact of IT disruptions and ensure the resilience of critical systems and data.

Oversee and maintain IT security and mobile device management systems.
• Documentation and Knowledge Sharing:Maintain accurate records of IT support requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolution outcomes in a ticketing system or knowledge base.

Document standard operating procedures, user guides and technical documentation to facilitate self-service and knowledge sharing among users.

Provide training and guidance to users on IT best practices, security awareness, and use of IT resources and tools.
