Our Sensors & Controls division, located in Stratford, ON, is looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join their team.

The ideal candidate will play a key role in the Quality Assurance organization to ensure both customer and company quality requirements are met. Develop, implement, and maintain a quality assurance program to support the design, manufacture, procurement, and supply of items, services, and material while ensuring compliance to internal and/or external specifications and standards (e.g., NRC, ASME, ISO, Six Sigma, customer contracts, etc.). May interface with internal and external customers, vendors, and regulatory agency representatives to resolve quality problems and provide information. Participates in and may lead audits and provides leadership to lower-level employees.

Your Challenge
• Develops, applies, and revises quality standards for receiving, in-process and final inspection in accordance with company and contractual requirements. May coordinate Engineering, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Material Control, Quality, and other departments to achieve optimum utilization of facilities in meeting production schedules.
• Reviews and evaluates in-process rejections, obtains disposition, and implements corrective action as needed.
• May interface with customers, vendors, and various company departments to resolve quality problems and provide information.
• Participates in audits.
• Provides technical support to inspection personnel as needed.
• May prepare and provide product assurance documentation as required by customer programs.

What You Bring
• Bachelor’s Degree of Engineering.
• 3-4 years’ experience quality assurance background with 1 year system related functions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills with knowledge of MS Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
