**Job Description**

Reach Up and Learn Facilitator (Home Visitor) meet three strategic CP programming objectives:

To strengthen IRC’s outreach within refugee, IDP and host communities of which RU&L Facilitator are members of. RU&L Facilitator act as, an entry point for information and awareness provision, monitoring of protection concerns, and referral of individuals in need to CP and protection services.

RU&L Facilitator engage in beneficiary (refugee/IDP/host community) mobilization, ensuring community participation in the design and implementation of response efforts. RU&L Facilitator will support beneficiaries in accessing feedback mechanisms.

RU&L Facilitator will facilitate sessions and curricula for community-based programs, high contact with the caregivers such as recreational activities with children and positive parenting skills sessions with parent/caregivers. IRC will train RU&L Facilitator, contributing to building community capacities for self-protection. RU&L... Facilitator will play a key role in supporting parents/caregivers, children and the broader community in building self-confidence and skills for the care of children, working with the community to raise awareness of risks to children and community protective structures and opportunities for children.
• *RU&L Facilitator responsibilities and duties:**

\- Applying RU&L Curriculum - High contact for caregivers - through home visits.
\- Applying RU&L Curriculum - High contact for caregivers - through parenting groups.
\- Establishing links between humanitarian actors and the local community;
\- Identifying individuals with specific needs through community activities household or community visits, referring them to existing services, in accordance with principles of confidentiality, non-discrimination and do no harm;
\- Facilitating CP (RU&L) content such as Social and Emotional Learning sessions and Reach Up and Learn visits to parents/caregivers
\- Information dissemination on protection risks and CP services
\- Engaging communities in program design and implementation, ensuring that feedback mechanisms are being accessed by beneficiaries and the broader community.
\- Conduct home-based or center-based activities, promoting early childhood development, positive parenting skills and social and emotional learning for children.
\- Participate actively in CP training packages and specific child protection trainings.
\- Participate in regular meetings with the CP (Reach up and learn) team to relay feedback on protection concerns and trends
• *Qualifications**

\- University degree in Education or related Social Science.
\- 1-2 Years of Previous experience working with children, in social work or community outreach
\- Previous experience providing psychosocial support sessions.
\- Demonstrated understanding of working with children and particularly vulnerable children
\- Personal qualities: Team player, flexible, strong communication skills with children and caregivers, analytical skills, network-builder, able to handle pressure well and work in cross-cultural setting.
\- Fluency in Arabic. Kurdish and English are an added advantage.
