We are looking for the Mövenpick Hotels in Lausanne and Geneva a

Cluster General Manager (m/w/d) 100%

nestled on the shores of Lake Geneva & near centre of Lausanne, 337 rooms many of them with lake view, Mövenpick Restaurant, Trattoria Ciao & characteristic Mövenpick Lounge & Bar, 18 modular conference rooms and catering division

located next to Geneva International Airport incl. free transfer, 350... rooms & suites, japonaise restaurant Kamome, Mövenpick Restaurant & Gate20 Bar, 19 flexible meeting rooms and venues

• Lead the hotels by developing and implementing strategic plans, including defining longterm objectives, identifying growth opportunities and risks as well as action plans to achieve set objectives
• Provide clear direction and leadership to the members of the executive teams, ensuring that strategic objectives and projects as well as company initiatives/procedures are understood and met, including applicable regulations and laws
• Monitor and manage the hotels finances (e.g. budget and forecast), ensuring profitability and solvency
• Ensure results in "top" and "bottomline" in close cooperation with all departments
• Ensure effective management of the hotels performances by measuring results against strategic objectives
• Investment and maintenance planning
• Monitor and manage operational and financial risks of the hotels
• Participate in industry events and meetings to represent the hotels / group and develop business relationships
- ongoing quality controls in all operational and administrative departments

• Direct and supervise all departments and teams within the hotels, ensuring the coherence of actions and interdepartmental collaboration
• Make clear and informed decisions to resolve operational and strategic problems within the hotels
• Ensure clear and effective communication with the hotels including guests, employees, and business partners
• Take personally care of the key accounts.
• Promote and maintain a positive, ethical, and inclusive company culture

• Hotel Management School background
• Hands on Mentality
• 2 to 3 successful GM positions preferably in 4 and 5 star hotels
• Experience with multi properties or cluster would be an advantage
• Ability to drive multi segment business
• Fluent in French and English
• A visible, proactive and personally driven leader with excellent organizational and communication skills, able to commit hotel staff to exceptional service
- a pronounced awareness of quality, excellent host qualities and a motivator for your teams
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously in a fastpaced environment
• Good to very good knowledge of the Swiss hotel market (Frenchspeaking part) is desirable
• Strong and assertive personality
