Floor Coordinator – 7th Floor

Dunedin Hospital

Salary Band – $114,000 - $121,000 p.a prorata + Kiwisaver
• 0.5FTE (20 hrs per week)
• Fixed Term Secondment cover until 3/3/25

We have a very exciting opportunity on the 7th floor for an experienced senior nurse. If you enjoy a challenge, wish to remain in the clinical environment and want an opportunity to advance your leadership skills, this could be the job for you.

Mō te tūranga | About the role
• Collaborate with the Charge Nurse Manager in the establishment and promotion of clinical nursing professional standards.
• Ensure effective day-to-day coordination across shifts, and management within the area.
• Promote excellence in clinical practice and ensuring provision of high-quality nursing care.
• Manage the clinical environment, facilitate staff development and at the same time enhance your management skills.

Mōu ake | About you
• Extensive clinical experience as well as having other specialities.
• Completed or be working... towards an appropriate post-graduate qualification.
• Current registration with the New Zealand Nursing Council and a current APC, with the right to work in New Zealand
• Demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively with other professionals
• Excellent time management, interpersonal and organisational skills
• The ability to be adaptable, flexible and solution focused

Utu whānui |Salary range

This role belongs to the NZNO Collective Agreement and falls between the step 1 ($114,025 p.a) and Step 2 ($121,444 p.a prorata) of the DSN scale Grade 1.
