Job Description:

Reporting into the Safety Manager at NRG Panel, you will assist in all aspects of HSEQ across the business and help implement our strategic safety plan. This role is critical in promoting a culture of safety throughout the organisation and ensuring compliance with all environmental, health & safety legislation. As a bespoke role, it is expected that you will travel to installation sites 3-4days per... week and be based out of our offices outside Loughrea, Co. Galway on the remaining days. Much of your travel is expected along the west and southern regions of Ireland.


This role will ideally suit a qualified EHS Officer(2+ years experience) who is self motivated and can manage their own time in the field and office. The individual should have a good regime already established as pre-planning is an integral part of the inspection regime due to projects and teams changing locations daily. Key Responsibilities:

· Assist with the implementation and enhancement of the strategic safety plan.

· drive safety and efficiency with knowledge and experience

· Lead incident investigations and oversee planning of work safely

· Deliver effective safety training and coaching to all levels of staff.

· Utilise exceptional interpersonal skills to engage and influence from the boardroom to the site.

· Foster a culture of safety and continuous improvement across the company.

· Liaise with regulatory authorities and ensure compliance with safety legislation and Client KPI’s.

· Provide risk assessments, method statements, onsite training, inductions etc

· Assist with maintaining ISO accreditations such as 9001,14001, 45001

· Previous utility/renewable installations experience an advantage but not necessary


· Minimum of an NFQ Level 7 EHS Qualification from a recognised 3rd level Institute essential.

· At least 2+ years of experience in a Health & Safety Officer/Advisor role, preferably within the renewable energy sector – but not essential.

· Strong coaching, engagement, and interpersonal skills.

· Proven leadership and communication abilities.

· Computer literate, familiar with Microsoft packages

· Ability to deliver training

Pay: €50,000.00-€60,000.00 per year
