The Prod Ctrl Sr. Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for ensuring the completeness, accuracy and integrity of the bank's books and records in coordination with the Finance team. The overall objective of this role is to control and support data integrity and general ledger reconciliation, profit attribution and new activity analysis, valuation control and product P&L and balance sheet reporting.
• *Responsibilities**:

- Evaluate moderately complex issues utilizing data, and select the best action between potentially conflicting situations
- Analyze data by filtering, prioritizing, and validating moderately complex information from multiple sources
- Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
- Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
- Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.

Responsibilities Include:

- Role provides opportunity to influence the critical control initiatives and financial reporting, inclusive of, but not limited to:Internal Audit Coordination: Work with Valuation Control Group and Product Control Group to assess control effectiveness via targeted reviews to identify any control gaps, areas for enhancement. Support finance partners in all interactions with Internal and External Audit, included but not limited to regular exams as established in annual plan, Business Monitoring, or Extended Monitoring efforts where PC is required. Help the teams to identify areas for improvement and support them during the resolution.Issue Management: Support and coordination for Creation, Remediation, Change management, Monitoring,

Reporting and Escalation of issues throughout the issue lifecycle. Includes working with teams outside of PC on actions owned. Perform conformance testing for issues coming due to ensure successful closure of corrective actions and issues.Regulatory Engagement: Preparation of meeting packs for the regular meetings, confirm the content of the pack with the Asset Classes and incorporate any updates, changes. Prepare meeting minutes. Help the preparation/ compilation / distribution of requested materials provided by finance partners.
- Coordinate with team members and finance partners to implement controls, mitigate risks while maximizing process effectiveness and efficiencies.
- Coordinate with other team members and finance partners to proactively work on process improvements with an emphasis on strengthening controls.
- Embed a culture of effective challenge, maintain a robust control environment, as well as timely and transparent communication of insightful financial analysis.
- Help to actively manage and drive improvements in the process.
- Participate in issue resolutions and drive change by building networks and partnering with peers throughout Finance and other areas of the organization.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree / Master’s Degree
- Minimum 3+ years of experience within the Finance sector, preferably within risk and controls function
- Experience dealing with senior governance and leadership forums as well as second, and third line control functions
- Experience in process improvement, process mapping, quality standards, and/or building best practice process/tools preferred; pro-active process improvement and efficiency mindset essential
- Demonstrates strong stakeholder and team-management experience to drive change in a cross functional environment
- Strong controls mindset; identifying and mitigating risks, communicating, and escalating concerns
- Demonstrable project and change management skills
- Strong communication skills, ability to effectively present/influence large groups, ability to assess and critically challenge information and processes, delivering appropriate outcomes
- Competence leading dynamic, challenging environments while providing creative solutions
- Ability to collaborate across businesses, regions and control functions
