In this position you will…

Lead the communications efforts for our fast-growing insurtech business with a focus on the Europe region. As part of a global in-house communications team across the group, you will be working across European geographies to support internal and external communications with a unique opportunity to play a key role in the group’s fastest growing region from the early stages, establishing and executing its communications strategy.

You will be tasked with leading public relations and corporate communications planning and execution, media relations and industry outreach, and internal communications, among other exciting projects, to tell the story of the company and increase brand awareness.

You will be responsible for…
• Leading internal and external communications across the group but with a special lens on the Europe region... –from strategy and planning, to execution of all communications efforts, including announcements, media engagements, corporate reputation building and branding, and marketing communications
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with key trade media, industry commentators, analysts and thought leaders
• Spokesperson management and support as executives represent the company at events and with the media
• Content development, coordination, and management of communications across a range of traditional and new media formats, including copywriting and editing, and researching and generating and localising thought-leadership

We are looking for the following qualifications and skills
• Highest standard of written and spoken English language is a must. Additional languages are a plus
• 8+ years’ experience in PR and corporate communications
• Agency background, or experience leading in-house communications for country/region in a high-growth business (experience in financial services, insurance, fintech or insurtech a plus)
• Media pitching experience, proven track-record of building a network of media and industry relationships from scratch
• Excellent stakeholder and spokesperson management skills
• Copywriting and copyediting skills
• Good grasp of broader marketing and brand disciplines
• International background, able to work easily across cultures and geographies
• Ability to work at speed and multi-task with a meticulous attention to detail
• Positive, problem-solving, ‘own it’ attitude, always looking for ways to improve communications and learn new skills and platforms
