JOB OVERVIEW To provide leadership and expertise on user experience design research, web strategy and governance and service design for ministry web properties. Utilizes user experience (UX) methodologies including design research, web content development, information architecture, interaction and graphic design and accessibility standards to ensure that the ministrys online presence is citizen-centered, user focused and aligned with corporate strategies and standards. Job Requirements: Education and Experience Bachelors Degree or diploma in Service Design, User Experience (UX) Design, Interaction Design, Computer Science, Communications or Social Sciences; OR An equivalent combination of related experience and/or education may be considered A minimum of 1 year of training or experience in utilizing human-centred design methods to design and deliver services including experience in EACH of the following: Design research Prototyping and wireframing with tools like Mural, Figma, Adobe XD User experience and user interface design Preference may be given to applicants with one (1) or more of the following: Experience in workshop design and facilitation Experience in working on an agile product team Experience in conceptual and strategic systems thinking Experience in understanding of how product design interacts with service design.
