This well-known family owned retailer and distributor of quality Musical Instruments and PA systems, is now looking for a new member for their Senior Management Team. Based in Port Moresby, reporting to the GM and MD, you will be a strategic partner responsible for leading a high performing and motivated team of around 30 staff, and contributing to the exceptional growth of the business. You will work in close partnership with the GM to create the strategic road map for the Sales team and will be responsible for leading, training, coaching and mentoring the team, as well as recruitment of new sales staff as the business continues to grow.

Responsibilities
• Leading a sales team to develop a sales pipeline to ensure targets are consistently met
• Delivering and driving account strategy with key partners to exceed sales targets and goals
• Taking an ethical and consultative approach with partners to grow market share
• Maintain forecasts for inventory by working closely with customers... and internal partners
• Lead negotiations and pricing strategies with key customers
• Lead marketing initiatives

Key Requirements
• Significant sales management experience is essential, preferably within the music/audio industry, however technical sales experience and a passion for all things musical will also be considered
• Strong leadership skills and a proven ability to develop high performing teams
• Well-developed communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to form strong stakeholder relationships
• Experience with Pronto ERP is a bonus
• Travel throughout PNG will be required

You will have experience across retail, wholesale, distribution, and service areas and will focus on growing the business.
