What is Noda?

Noda is reshaping online payments, allowing seamless transactions from customers to your bank account. With a footprint in the UK, EU, and Canada (Australia up next!), we're seeking a talented Compliance Quality Assurance Office to be part of our dynamic team.

What will you do?

As a Compliance Quality Assurance Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance processes within the department. You will play a critical role in evaluating adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures. Your attention to detail, analytical skills, and ability to provide actionable feedback will be essential in this role to maintain high compliance... standards.

Develop and Implement Compliance Quality Assurance Processes:
• Collaborate with compliance management to develop and implement quality assurance processes and procedures.
• Define testing methodologies, metrics, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate compliance activities.
• Establish criteria for evaluating the effectiveness of compliance controls and processes.

Conduct Compliance Quality Assurance Reviews:
• Perform periodic reviews and audits of compliance activities, documentation, and reports to assess adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Identify areas of non-compliance, deficiencies, or gaps in compliance processes and controls.
• Document findings, observations, and recommendations for corrective action.

Provide Feedback and Recommendations:
• Provide feedback to compliance staff on the quality and completeness of compliance documentation, reports, and filings.
• Make recommendations for improvements to compliance processes, procedures, and controls based on review findings.
• Work with compliance management to implement corrective actions and improvements.

Monitor Compliance Metrics and Reporting:
• Monitor compliance metrics and KPIs to track the effectiveness and efficiency of compliance activities.
• Analyze trends and patterns in compliance data to identify areas for improvement or further investigation.
• Generate reports and presentations summarizing compliance quality assurance findings and recommendations.

What are your skills and experience?
• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, legal studies, or related field.
• years of experience in compliance, internal audit, quality assurance, or a related field, preferably in the financial services industry or regulated environment.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements, compliance controls, and best practices.
• Experience with compliance testing, auditing, or quality assurance methodologies and tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify compliance issues, root causes, and corrective actions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex compliance concepts and recommendations to diverse audiences.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness in compliance reviews and documentation.
• Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
