We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Event and onboard Program Manager and Coordinator to lead and execute a wide range of events and onboard programs. This role requires a combination of strategic planning, coordination, and direct execution to ensure seamless and memorable experiences for our clients and guests in the events and cruise industry.

Duties/Responsibilities:

1. Strategic Planning:

• Develop and implement a comprehensive strategy for events and onboard programs, aligning with organizational goals and client expectations.

• Provide input on long-term planning, identifying opportunities for growth and innovation.

2. Event & Program Management:

• Oversee the planning and execution of a variety of events, including conferences, themed activities, celebrations, DJ parties, and shows, both onboard and onshore.

• Lead the development of diverse and engaging onboard programs catering to... different demographics and interests.

3. Team Leadership:

• Manage team and cast onboard to ensure the entire program is in detail planned, scheduled, and coordinated, providing leadership, guidance, and support.

• Foster a collaborative and creative team environment to encourage innovation and excellence.

4. Vendor and Stakeholder Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, entertainers, and suppliers to ensure seamless coordination and execution of events and programs.

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, entertainment department including marketing, sales, and operations, to align event strategies with overall business objectives.

5. Budget Oversight:

• Develop, manage, and monitor budgets for events and onboard programs, ensuring financial targets are met.

• Implement cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of experiences.

6. Communication and Marketing:

• Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop and implement promotional strategies for events and programs.

• Ensure clear and effective communication with internal teams, as well as guests and clients.

7. Guest Satisfaction:

• Focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences by anticipating needs, addressing concerns, and exceeding expectations.

• Implement feedback mechanisms to continuously enhance the quality of events and programs.

8. Logistics Coordination:

• Oversee the coordination of transportation, accommodation, and other logistical aspects for events held onboard and onshore.

• Ensure compliance with all necessary permits and permissions for onshore events.

9. Documentation and Reporting:

• Maintain detailed records of event and program logistics, expenses, and outcomes.

• Generate comprehensive reports to evaluate the success of events and programs, providing insights for future improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.

• Proven experience in event planning and coordination, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.

• Strong organizational, multitasking, and critical thinking skills.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

• Creativity and a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and event management software.
