As a Project Manager specialising in investment change within the insurance sector, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives related to investment portfolio management, risk assessment, and financial performance optimization. Your responsibilities will involve planning, executing, and overseeing projects that enhance investment processes, streamline operations, and contribute to the organization’s growth.

Your new role

Project Planning and Execution:
• Develop, define, and execute project plans, including scope, activities, schedules, budgets, and deliverables.
• Identify necessary resources for projects and assign major project roles.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project implementation.

Investment Change Management:
• Lead projects related to investment strategy adjustments, portfolio diversification, and asset allocation.
• Monitor investment performance and recommend changes based on market trends and risk... assessments.
• Implement investment policy updates and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

Stakeholder Management:
• Set and manage stakeholder expectations, both internally and externally.
• Communicate project progress, risks, and outcomes to senior management, business units, and other relevant stakeholders.

Risk Assessment and Mitigation:
• Identify potential risks related to investment change projects.
• Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.

Operational Efficiency Enhancement:
• Streamline investment processes, automate workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
• Implement best practices and industry standards.

What you'll need to succeed
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Essential: Proven experience working within the insurance industry, specifically in investment management or related areas.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and risk management.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is advantageous.
• Familiarity with agile methodologies and change management principles.
