Position Overview: As an M&A Consultant at our leading consulting firm, you will play a critical role in providing strategic advisory services to clients across Asia. You will be responsible for supporting clients through complex mergers and acquisitions transactions, including deal origination, execution, and post-transaction integration. Your expertise will help clients achieve their business objectives while maximizing value and minimizing risk.

Key Responsibilities:
• Deal Origination & Analysis:
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify potential M&A opportunities for clients.
• Evaluate and analyze the financial performance, strategic alignment, and potential synergies of potential targets.
• Assist clients in formulating acquisition strategies that align with their business goals.
• Due Diligence:
• Lead and manage the due diligence process, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of target companies.
• Collaborate with legal, financial, and operational teams to assess... risks and opportunities.
• Prepare due diligence reports and present findings to clients.
• Transaction Execution:
• Assist clients in structuring and negotiating M&A transactions, including valuation and deal terms.
• Provide insights and recommendations to optimize deal structures and financial outcomes.
• Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate smooth transaction execution.
• Client Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique business needs and objectives.
• Provide ongoing strategic advice and support throughout the M&A process.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, offering innovative solutions and market insights.
• Post-Transaction Integration:
• Support clients in planning and executing post-transaction integration strategies.
• Help clients realize synergies and value creation opportunities through effective integration processes.
• Monitor the progress of integration initiatives and provide recommendations for improvements.
• Thought Leadership & Market Insights:
• Stay current with market trends, industry developments, and regulatory changes affecting M&A activities across Asia.
• Contribute to thought leadership materials, such as reports, articles, and presentations.
• Participate in networking and industry events to expand the firm's reach and influence.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business administration, or related field; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
• At least 3-5 years of experience in M&A advisory, investment banking, or corporate finance.
• Strong financial modeling, valuation, and analytical skills.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
• Familiarity with regional regulations and cross-border M&A practices in Asia.
• Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Fluency in English is required; proficiency in one or more Asian languages is a plus.
• Willingness to travel as needed to support client engagements across Asia.
