A traditional, chartered independent insurance broker are looking to add an experienced Account Handler to their Sheffield office.

The role will work closely with Account Executives, assisting them with the servicing and retention of existing clients and support with new business from time to time.

Main Duties Will Include
• Building strong relationships with clients and understanding insurance needs
• Dealing with premiums ranging from £10,000 to £250,000
• Dealing with renewals and pro-actively ensuring a high retention level
• Communicating with Underwriters on a daily basis and building strong relationships
• Broking risks for renewals and new business
• Using a selection of online insurer portals to place new business and renewals
• Producing detailed reports for renewal meetings
• Using the Acturis system

The salary is up to £40k and comes with 26 days holiday, pension, life assurance, private medical and support for CII qualifications.
