Job Title: Wealth Advisor


The Wealth Advisor is crucial in providing personalized financial advice and investment solutions to our clients, both old and new (high-net-worth individuals, institutions families, students, etc.) Leveraging their expertise in business development, wealth management, financial planning, and investment strategies, the Wealth Advisor builds and maintains long-term relationships with clients, helping them navigate complex financial landscapes and achieve their wealth objectives.

Key Responsibilities
• Champion the growth of SCM Capital’s Asset Under Management (AUM).
• Meet income targets and other Key Performance Indicators.
• Effectively profile prospects/clients, analyze their needs and goals, and proffer solutions.
• Identify opportunities to expand the client base and grow assets under management through proactive prospecting, networking, and relationship-building activities.
• Build and maintain value-adding business relationships and lead in... the development of new client relationships.
• Provide financial planning, wealth management, and investment advisory.
• Prepare marketing plans and develop strategies to grow the retail and institutional products and clients.
• Coordinate the execution of business initiatives by identifying business opportunities and actively contribute to product and service development to meet the client’s current and future needs.
• Analyze relevant information to determine strategies best aligned to meeting clients' financial objectives.
• Collaborate with internal teams, including research analysts, and marketing professionals, to develop and execute client acquisition strategies.
• Participate in client seminars, educational workshops, and industry events to enhance the company's visibility and credibility in the wealth management space.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree and professional certifications (e.g., ICAN, CIS, CFA, etc,) will be an added advantage.
• Registration with the Securities and Exchange Commission is an added advantage.
• Preferred candidate must have 4 – 7 years of business development experience and a proven track record of success in growing AUM, wealth management, financial advisory, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of investment products - shares, bonds, treasury bills etc, financial markets, and wealth management best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to communicate effectively, and inspire trust with clients.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess complex financial situations, identify opportunities, and formulate strategic recommendations.
