Marketing Assistant Manager

Functional Content

Mission

Management of marketing operations to contribute to the achievement of business objectives in a strategic and fast way.
• Assist the supervisor in the management of the marketing department and its strategies:
• Planning, execution, organization, and control of marketing activities.
• Development of plans and actions to meet the commercial strategies of products and services offered by the company.
• Conception, creation, planning and development of sales campaigns with the... application of traditional marketing elements as well as digital marketing.
• Identification of potential customers through market analysis and business intelligence
• Study of the market and competition through its product and service chain
• Promotion of the company's brands and business strategies.
• Development of the sales and marketing team through on the job training;
• Development and follow-up of institutional and corporate communication elements.
• Development of actions focused on social and environmental responsibility.
• Support to the departments and their activities.

Responsibilities /Activities

Marketing Planning and Definition
• Put into practice the marketing strategy, defined at the top;
• Participates in the elaboration of the communication and marketing plans of the company and all its represented brands;
• Elaborates and ensures the correct use of support tools (information or advertising documents and Marketing arguments, according to the company's policies and its regulatory processes.

Brand Deployment Strategies
• Assists in planning, organizing and controlling the implementation of advertisements to promote the brand, interacting with the providers and/or suppliers responsible for the solutions;
• Assures the execution and participates in promotional operations;
• Assists the superior in the definition of the communication plan and creative advertising in its various vehicles and media (press, television, radio, social networks, events, etc.);
• Develops partnerships (distributors, promotion channels, suppliers, etc.) to increase sales or brand awareness.

Advertising Production and Management
• Monitors the graphic and/or digital production process of advertising pieces, such as brochures and gift products, checking and controlling other graphic details;
• Ensures the preparation of communication supports, ensuring their compliance with the global communication policy of the company and all its represented brands;

Distribution
• Identifies the appropriate means of communication to get products to customers;
• Participates in the organization of promotional events, such as congresses, forums, exhibitions, fairs, executing the programming, according to the objective and target audience in each situation
• Identifies other distribution channels (partnerships).

People Management
• Makes sure that the personnel needs for the Marketing area are met, ensuring the reception and integration of new employees;
• Ensures the development and training of staff, supporting the career management;
• Promotes the development of his subordinates, evaluating their performance and promoting strategies for their development;
• Ensures the fulfillment of promotion goals by his subordinates;
• Discloses generic information and/or technical specifications to his subordinates; providing them with a greater knowledge of the product and promotion policy of the company and its represented brands.

Skills Profile

Academic Qualifications
• Degree in Marketing, Communication, Engineering, or related areas.

Professional Experience:
• 5 years of professional experience in Marketing.
• Experience in the automotive industry is an advantage.
• Experience with digital marketing

General Qualification:
• Fluent Portuguese;
• Fluent English;
• Computer skills (Microsoft Office Package);
• knowledge of Power BI
• knowledge of digital marketing.
• Excellent knowledge of the business areas related to mobility segment.
• Very good knowledge of communication and outreach.
• Very good knowledge of advertising.
