We are a part of a wider NZ Inc. and play a key role in driving economic growth in NZ. We achieve this through our world-renowned genetics and technology products, which create more sustainable and profitable farms.

About The Role

This is a customer relationship and sales role, where you'll work closely with customers on-farm to understand their goals and challenges, and provide them with data-driven solutions to add value to their farms. The role is responsible for a territory in the South Canterbury/North Otago region, based around the Oamaru area.

Key focus areas include:
• Maximising relationships with existing customers, and actively building relationships with new customers.
• Successful implementation of LIC solutions and the achievement of sales targets in your area.
• Identifying new business opportunities with... existing and new customers.
• Undertaking educational and promotional initiatives with farmers.

About You

As a rural professional, you'll understand and empathise with the unique challenges our farmers face, and easily build trust and credibility with them. You'll either have an outstanding farming record, or a background in relationship management or sales roles. Having a relevant qualification will also be beneficial.

You'll bring a good knowledge of herd and cow quality, genetics, and understand how these impact on profitability.

You'll also demonstrate:
• Excellent 'people skills' and enjoy networking and building strong relationships.
• Strong self-motivation and ability to work autonomously and proactively manage your day.
• Results-focused with a track record of achieving great sales results.
• Demonstrate resilience, confidence and adaptability.
• Great problem-solving skills and ability to match solutions to customers.
• Confident and effective communication skills, both verbally and in writing.

In return

In addition to a competitive salary, plus incentive bonus and company car, you'll receive extra leave days, flexible working environment, discounted health, life, income and disability insurances. You'll also get all the tools to make you successful, including phone, laptop and ipad.

You'll have the support of an office-based support person, who will provide the support you need with things like admin, data, campaign work, etc. The team you are joining are a great bunch, who will make you feel very welcome and well-supported.

This is a great opportunity to join an organisation driving the future of dairy in NZ.
