Job Description

Quality Control Procedures: Develop and implement comprehensive quality control procedures to ensure adherence to industry standards, specifications, and regulations. Continuously evaluate and improve quality control processes to minimize defects and ensure product excellence.

Inspections and Audits: Conduct regular inspections and audits at various stages of the production process, including raw material inspections, in-process quality checks, and final product inspections. Identify and address any quality issues, deviations, or non-compliance promptly.

Supplier and Vendor Collaboration: Collaborate with suppliers and vendors to establish quality standards, specifications, and requirements. Conduct supplier audits to assess their capabilities and ensure compliance with quality standards. Provide... feedback and guidance to suppliers to improve their quality performance.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate documentation of quality control activities, including inspection reports, test results, and corrective actions taken. Generate regular reports to track quality metrics, trends, and improvement initiatives. Communicate findings and recommendations to relevant stakeholders.

Training and Development: Provide training and support to employees involved in quality control processes, ensuring their understanding of quality standards, procedures, and practices. Foster a culture of quality awareness and continuous improvement throughout the organization.

Regulatory Compliance: Stay up to date with relevant regulations, industry standards, and customer requirements pertaining to product quality. Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory standards related to production, labeling, and safety.

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with design, production, sourcing, and other teams to proactively address quality issues and implement quality improvement initiatives. Participate in cross-functional meetings and discussions to provide quality-related insights and recommendations.

The Successful Applicant

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as textile engineering, fashion design, or quality management. A relevant certification or advanced degree is a plus.

Proven experience as a Quality Manager or a similar role in the Sportswear industry.

In-depth knowledge of quality control processes, techniques, and practices in the Sportswear industry.

Familiarity with relevant industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and vendors.

Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines.

Proficient in using quality management systems, software, and tools.
