Snappy Shopper is a market leader in the growing Q-commerce convenience grocery sector, worth £41b in the UK. In addition to our independent retailers, we serve most of the major convenience store players, including Spar, Nisa, Premier and Booker.

Snappy exists to enable local high street businesses to serve their customers online so that local communities thrive, and revenue stays local. Retailers have seen revenue uplifts of between £5k and £120k per month, making the platform mission critical to local business.

Our Location

We are a Scottish start-up with 120 colleagues based around the UK and our Head Office is located in Dundee.

This is a remotely based role (within the UK) where occasional travel to our Dundee office and retailer sitesmay be required.

About the Team

Reporting into our Social Media and PR Manager, the central marketing team play a crucial role in delivering Snappy's marketing strategy. The team directly deliver growth for the business, from store... launch marketing support to the planning and execution of an always-on customer campaigns calendar.

About the Role We are looking for a motivated marketing professional who is ready to roll up their sleeves and help us deliver our marketing strategy. This brand new role is an exciting one, and will suit any marketer who has a desire to play a hands-on role across our marketing operations.
• Support the Social Media & PR Manager to execute the 12 month Social Media & PR plan.
• Ensure every store launch is supported with engaging and impactful PR activation to raise local awareness.
• Investigate, develop and draft engaging hyperlocal stories and sell in to local media to attract new customers in the area.
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to develop and draft stories for trade PR to raise awareness of Snappy in the relevant industries.
• Monitor media coverage and proactively share with key internal stakeholders, highlighting any learnings, findings and opinions.
• Create real life content with the Social Media & PR Manager and other stakeholders to support marketing campaigns and initiatives.
• Communicate with external stakeholders (e.g. retailers, media, customers) to help execute impactful PR activations.
• Turn campaign briefs into engaging content that’s tailored to audiences and channel best practice.
• Schedule customer communications (e.g. social media, push notifications, emails, SMS) to support marketing campaign delivery.
• Support the Customer Marketing Manager to communicate with the wider Growth functional team to ensure hyperlocal execution of marketing campaigns.
• Brief in creative assets to relevant colleagues to support PR and marketing campaign activities.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will have/be:
• Marketing/PR qualification or similar would be preferable.
• Proactive in delivery and is action oriented.
• Excellent content creation and copywriting skills.
• Attention to detail when managing multiple tasks.
• Good proofreading skills.
• Creative and commercial mindset, ready to turn ideas into results.
• A strong communicator and confident dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
