As an Employee Relations Advisor as part of the HR Specialist Services team, you will play a crucial role in managing and handling employee relations tasks and queries at the group level. Working within the HR Operational ER & Compliance team, you will be responsible for providing strategic guidance and expertise in handling complex employee relations matters across a number of brands therefore an up-to-date knowledge of UK/International Employment Law is desired.

Key Responsibilities:
• Handling of complex employee relations issues, conducting thorough investigations and providing recommendations.
• Operate employee relations policies and procedures.
• Advise and support HR and management teams on best practices, ensuring compliance with employment laws and supporting with crafting and drafting of documentation including agreements and templates
• Support on redundancy & TUPE transfers where required, ensuring speedily compliant outcomes
• Updating of ER trackers & case management... software
• Provide robust, practical, professional and dedicated ER advice to a range of key stakeholders, linking in with SERA where needed
• Attendance and in some cases leading on significant senior investigations or hearings where participation of HR would be beneficial.
• Provide training to HR and line managers on employee relations topics.
• Contribute to the development of a positive workplace culture and employee engagement initiatives.
• Collaborate with legal counsel when necessary to address potential legal issues.
• On a regular basis monitor and ensure our ER processes are in line with the latest employment law requirements across our locations and implement and communicate changes to key stakeholders.

• Lead/first response on initial HR & ER queries and issues
• Able to understand and manage all elements of investigation processes
• Ability to challenge the status quo and offer suggested improvements to current practices
• Ability to prioritize and work on own initiative.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple priorities based on ER risk
• Able to demonstrate good communication skills at all levels of management and employees.
• Understanding of all elements of Employee Relations including supporting and driving change
• Good understanding of HR policy and practice (internationally - would be beneficial)
• Extensive experience in general employee relations advice and guidance

• Degree in HR-related topic desirable
• CIPD Qualification or country-specific best practice HR qualification. Or work experience equivalent
