We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a leading medical devices company in Galway. This is a long term hourly rate position with rates depending on experience.

Job Responsibilities:
• Identify and implement opportunities for improved efficiency. Proactive monitoring of line efficiency, performance and output.
• Provide design for manufacture feedback/support to R&D team during new product development phase.
• Equipment specification, procurement, calibration, and maintenance.
• Completion and review of process risk analysis and ongoing dedication to risk reduction.
• Apply advanced statistical methods and performs mathematical calculations to resolve manufacturing processes, staff requirements, and production standards.
• Technology transfer and process optimisation.
• Laser-cutting/welding, adhesive bonding, and micro-assembly of medical devices.

Education/Experience:
• Mechanical or biomedical engineering degree or equivalent.
• Minimum of 1 years’... experience within a GMP regulated Operations Department environment.
• Production / line support experience within a medical device environment.
• Must be free to work in Ireland with no Visa restrictions.
