City Psychology Group (CPG) is recruiting NOW for the positions of ‘Clinical Affiliate’, ‘Clinical Associate’ and ‘Senior Clinical Associate’ to form part of its team of psychology experts.

In 2007 CPG was formed - an independent group practice comprising of highly skilled Practitioner Psychologists with varying degrees of experience and expertise. We have strong links with a range of other healthcare consultants both within the NHS and the private sector. Our busy practice is backed up by an experienced and efficient administration and customer care service. We provide clinical, counselling, occupational and coaching psychology services of the highest quality predominantly via both online means or from our London-based consulting rooms.

We work with people of all ages, including individuals, couples, families, and groups experiencing a variety of emotional and psychological problems. Most of our client group consists of top corporate executives.

CPG continues to grow day by day... week by week and we are therefore continuously looking for skilled practitioners to join our thriving, vibrant and fast-growing practice.

OPPORTUNITY

Following restructure and expansion developments to meet the growing demand for our psychology services, City Psychology Group (CPG) requires additional Clinical or Counselling Psychologists to help us with the ever-increasing stream of private referrals. We offer flexible part-time working if you want to supplement your main work within the NHS. Alternatively, full-time work is also available should you chose to increase your availability. The job may suit a wide range of expertise e.g., Integrative, Psychodynamic, CBT, third-wave CBT/mindfulness-based therapies, ADHD, Relationships/Couples, PTSD/Trauma, general adult and/or young people’s mental health, and more: whatever your particular interest is, you will work with the specific type of clients you prefer. Along with expertise in psychological therapy, further desirable experience would be in psychometrics/psychological testing and/or designing and delivering training and workshops.

We are looking for BPS Chartered and HCPC Registered Counselling or Clinical Psychologists.

JOB ROLE DESCRIPTION
• Let us know what specialisms you have an interest in, and we will align clients to you accordingly.
• Once you join our friendly and supportive team, we will support you with full administration, billing and secretarial/administrative services.
• For a suitable candidate, our remuneration package is highly competitive for psychologists working as independent contractors.
• Due to the flexibility of the hours, you can engage anything from a couple of hours per day up to several hours per week depending on your ongoing availability.
• If you prefer to keep your job within the NHS then this is a great opportunity to extend your experience into the private sector without having to forgo your career within the National Health Service.
• We currently operate seven days a week offering clinical sessions from 8am to 10pm on most days which in turn supports those wishing to maintain both the NHS and Private Role concurrently.
• If you are already operating independently in private practice you will benefit from our administration, customer service and accounts teams which in turn enables you to focus on providing high quality care to our clients.
• Weekdays, weekends, mornings or late evenings – we will agree your hours based on your availability.
• Face to face sessions are conducted from our London consulting rooms at EC3N 1LS and EC2A 4RH.

MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
• We accept applicants working independently within the private sector - applications will only be considered if...
• The applicant doesn’t remain part of or continue working with any other group practice offering psychology treatment or therapy
• The applicant has the ability to develop an excellent professional therapeutic relationship with clients
• The applicant demonstrates respect towards, and the ability to cooperate with colleagues and the support-team
• The applicant has demonstrable experience within our field
• The applicant must have the desire to provide high quality psychological treatment, as confirmed by client feedback
• The applicant has a UK based/registered bank account
• The applicant has relevant indemnity insurance
• The applicant can commit a minimum of 7 hours per week over at least two different days
• The applicant must hold recognition by the relevant UK professional organisations (HCPC* & BPS)

Overview:

Salary: £60.00 to £91.00 per session
