• Job Title: Investment Data Administrator
• Location: Office Based in Salisbury (Hybrid*)
• Salary: Range of £26,000 to £30,000, depending on experience/qualifications
• Reports To: Investment Management Team
• Responsible For: Research support and investment data collection

Job Overview

Due to a restructuring within our Research Team, we are looking for a part qualified candidate who will be responsible for monitoring and maintaining accurate research data collection in support of our Investment Team, for all products and services. The right candidate will be the Casterbridge point of contact for our investment data reports and model management database. There is much potential to make this role your own and act as the key person in support of our investment governance and processes.

Responsibilities and Duties
• Monitoring our centralised Research Team mailbox
• Maintain system data to enable production of information in support of the investment team... objectives
• Generate and compile monthly and quarterly investment reports for distribution both internally and externally
• Generate and compile any ad hoc reports requested both internally and externally
• Work closely and alongside Research Analysts and Investment Managers to directly support the investment process and portfolio management activities
• Provide a clear line of communication between our Bespoke and MPS Portfolios through attending our regular Managed Portfolio Working Group (MPWG) and twice weekly Trader’s meetings
• Work flexibly across the research support function to ensure a proactive response to fluctuations in service demands
• Identify opportunities for process improvements
• Assist with departmental projects, system implementation and enhancements
• Carry out additional duties as needed to support the Research and Investment Teams
• Comply with relevant FCA rules and regulations and policies, as they apply to the job holder, including adherence to the FCA Individual Conduct Rules
• Promote Casterbridge profile at external meetings, conferences, briefings, etc

• It’s important to note that whilst Casterbridge fully supports a hybrid working arrangement, there is a requirement to attend the Salisbury office on a regular basis, following successful probation. During the initial 3-month probation, the successful candidate will need to be in Salisbury, attending the office Monday to Friday for at least a 4-week period. Thereafter, and on agreement, working arrangements will be office and home based, with the added benefit of London based co-working space, to spend regular time with the rest of the investment team. We support the reimbursement of travel and subsistence costs, in line with our Expense Policy. Details of which can be discussed during the interview stages.

Person Specification

• Part Qualified Investment Analyst.
• A willingness to undergo further personal and professional development.
• Knowledge and understanding of global economics, investment markets, and investment portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of the industry and major asset classes.
• Proven experience of working within the investment management sector for at least 2 years
• Demonstrate effective analytical skills and the ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Demonstrate effective time management and the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, through a range of communication methods.
• Demonstrate an ability to work as part of a team and to develop and sustain good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Demonstrate ability to work in a high pressure environment and to react appropriately to changing work conditions.

• Minimum Level 3 IOC(CISI) or Level 4 IMC (CFA) Qualified.
• Demonstrate ability to analyse facts and contribute justifiable reasoning.
• Knowledge of Morningstar Direct and FE Analytics
• Experience as a Research/Data Analyst for a discretionary or advisory investment firm.
• A confident team player with initiative and focus, able to converse at all levels. Organised and efficient.
