Are you a dedicated clinical operation professional who enjoys working in dynamic and multicultural work environment? Are you passionate about clinical research and have previous experience in people management? Do you care about serving patients fighting with chronic diseases? If yes, you might be our new Clinical Operations Manager. This position is based in Athens, Greece and will report to Therapeutical Area Manager.

The position

As a Clinical Operations Manager, you will be leading Trial Operation (TO) team to deliver specific Therapeutical Area (TA) trials allocated by implementation of CDC (Clinical Development Centre) tactics within onboarding, talent management, people development, performance management, etc.

You will be also responsible:
• Building effective TO team operational model
• Managing an effective resource and workload of the TO team
• Continuously development of Therapeutics Arias capability in TOs team... internally and externally
• Driving TA-level improvement initiatives/change management to achieve overall CDC efficiency
• Conducting a cross-functional cooperation within CDC, affiliates, and HQ

Qualifications

You have a bachelor’s degree in a related field and a master’s degree in healthcare field would be a plus. You have at least 3 years of solid experience in clinical trial management. You’ re fluent in written and spoken English and Greek. Further sought-after skills are:
• You are experienced in delivering ambitious results
• You have the ability to deliver through effective management of other in-time and in-quality
• You have influencing skills and proven successes
• You are able to gather and make sense of information that suggests new possibilities
• You are good at leveraging connections with internal and external stakeholders to make things happen
• You have the ability to deal constructively with problems that do not have clear solutions or outcomes
• You have solid track record in clinical trials execution in multifunctional team and training

About the department

The Clinical Operations Department is a fast-growing Team with highly skilled and ambitious colleagues responsible for the planning and execution of clinical trial activities in accordance with the Product Development Plans of Novo Nordisk.

The scope of our activities is phase I to IV clinical trials and non-interventional studies in collaboration with our Headquarters and local stakeholders. Our environment is characterized by a global network with challenging assignments in a project centric organization.
