But as much as we value work, we also really care about who we work with. Instead of telling you what kind of person you have to be in order to work with us, we will tell you who we are. And hopefully, you recognize yourself in this:

We are engineers. First and foremost. Regardless of our previous experience, we are excited about learning new things. We are not afraid to dive in and be out of our comfort zone. We actually want to tackle the unknown, and complex problems that arise from there.

We are responsible. We value knowledge and integrity. We are not afraid to ask for help, nor are we avoiding offering help to coworkers. We want our work to have meaning and to see it influence the real world.

Conclusion:

We are developing innovative, ground-breaking technology for our customers and end-users and will reshape the Internet as we know it. If reading this job ad makes you as excited as we are, then we should definitely connect!

Why Cisco

#WeAreCisco, where each person is unique, but we bring our talents to work as a team and make a difference powering an inclusive future for all.

We embrace digital, and help our customers implement change in their digital businesses. Some may think we're "old" (36 years strong) and only about hardware, but we're also a software company. And a security company. We even invented an intuitive network that adapts, predicts, learns and protects. No other company can do what we do - you can't put us in a box.

But "Digital Transformation" is an empty buzz phrase without a culture that allows for innovation, creativity, and yes, even failure (if you learn from it.)

Day to day, we focus on the give and take. We give our best, give our egos a break, and give of ourselves (because giving back is built into our DNA.) We take accountability, bold steps, and take difference to heart. Because without diversity of thought and a dedication to equality for all, there is no moving forward.

So, you have colorful hair? Don't care. Tattoos? Show off your ink. Like polka dots? That's cool. Pop culture geek? Many of us are. Passion for technology and world changing? Be you, with us!

And on top of all that - Cisco has been named #1 Best Company to Work for in the U.S. by Fortune and Great Place to Work - for the second year in a row! With this honor, we join Cisco teams in 15 countries that are currently holding the title of #1 Best Workplace!
