Senior Account Manager

This is a Senior Account Manager role! You must have a minimum of 5 years proven client development and management experience where you have demonstrated your capabilities to service an existing client base while driving growth in your business territory in ANZ and SEA through sourcing and securing new and existing clients.

In this position, you will be responsible for developing both long-term relationships with clients, key business executives and stakeholders, as well as be proactive in... finding opportunities among new prospects. The ideal candidate will have great client relationship management skills, business development expertise and strategy experience, with a results-oriented approach to addressing client needs.


· Responsible for developing and executing an annual plan to grow both existing and new business.

· Account leader for the businesses being developed and account(s) being assigned.

· Able to translate research and sales expertise into new business development and growth with existing accounts and prospects.

· Lead on developing insightful and strategic sales presentations/proposals and pulling in the appropriate company expertise where needed.

· Develop and maintain strong and trusted relationships with clients.

· Provide leadership with timely reporting regarding business forecast, sales pipeline, and opportunity analysis.

· Assess project suitability for an online study and educate potential clients about online Marketing Research and Toluna solutions;

· Monitor project progress and engage in client follow-ups to foster ongoing relationships;

· Completion of all business administrative tasks, including bids entry, project closure, cost confirmation, invoicing and internal commercial reports.

Required skill set:

· Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 5 years of market research experience, coupled with expertise in business development or relevant account management experience.

· Self-motivated with a proven ability to drive business to successful close, developing returning and reoccurring client and business opportunities.

· Comfortable with a role involving sales target pressure.

· Demonstrated success in all aspects of the project process, including bids entry, project closure, cost confirmation, invoicing and internal commercial reports.

· Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills with the ability to develop effective working relationships with both internal partners and external clients.

· Active listening skills with the ability to identify problems and determine the appropriate and creative paths to resolution.

· Global and multi-functional team experience.

· Must be fluent in English.
