For this position we are seeking someone with prior Patent administrative experience , highly desirable is someone who has also completed or who is looking to complete CIPA qualification.
As a Patent administrator, you work as part of the Patent administration team to provide a high level administrative support to all levels of Patent Fee-Earners. You will be required to work autonomously and as a member of a team to develop and improve process and business efficiency. You must have excellent attention to detail in drafting correspondence and be pro active.
Duties will include; Processing incoming case related correspondence and updates... dealing with deadlines and due dates, updating the online system for new new case entries, managing mail inboxes for allocated fee earners, processing standard correspondence, liaising with clients and foreign attorneys and service providers, managing daily due date reports, filing and assisting with billing and invoicing, preparing and filing patent and design applications and preparing documents / correspondence for filing at the relevant Intellectual Property Office.
