We are looking for a creative and structured Global In-store and Visual Merchandising Manager, who can lead us in our In-store Design strategy and execution, as well as Visual Merchandising planning and implementation globally. You will lead us in driving best in class Retail Experience, supporting the business strategy and contributing to enhancing the consumer experience in our own stores, Monobrands, Showrooms, Shop in Shops and Multibrand channels.

In-store experience to our consumers and partners. This position plays a key role in achieving our ambitions, responsible for consistently communicating our brand identity, promoting our iconic product portfolio and delivering an exceptional elevated standard of display and visual presentation in our channels.

Your key responsibilities include:
• Retail Experience. Define and drive the Louis Poulsen Retail Experience in our owned stores and showrooms, as well as our partner channels, leveraging our Corporate Visual Identity (CVI) as a means to drive brand experience, optimizing the customer journey, with an ultimate goal of generating sales.
• In-store Design. Grounded on our CVI, lead the design and development of in-store environments, including concept development, space planning, layout design, material selection, and architectural detailing. Produce comprehensive design documentation, including floor plans, elevations, 3D renderings, and construction drawings, to communicate design intent and specifications to internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and contractors.
• Visual Merchandising. Oversee the creation and implementation of visual merchandising guidelines, including rotation and zoning plans, ensuring consistency and excellence across all global locations. Maximize our sales per sqm through optimized visual merchandising and brand storytelling tools. Together with our Global Omnichannel Activation Manager, align our overall retail communication (Brand and storytelling) in our own stores and showrooms as well as Monobrand and Multibrand.
• Programme Management. Optimal planning and production, secured timings and budget management of all in-store projects including Showrooms, own SIS and Monobrand stores. Drive the planning, design, production and deployment of visual elements and display fixtures globally for all our channels, including project management together with our suppliers. Collaborate closely with our local markets, marketing and sales colleagues in all topics around In-store and Visual Merchandising. Communicate with key stakeholders our key planned activities, reporting back to Brand and Marketing as well as Heads of Sales for all In-store activities, implementation and key results.
• Key deliverables include a Global In-store and Visual Merchandising Plan, including Rotation Plan, Windows Plan, Monobrand and SIS Shop in Shop concept development, Annual VM plan for Showrooms, owned stores and Monobrand.
• Travelling is expected - approximately 30-60 days depending on store openings and projects.

As you will be part of a dynamic and motivated team and culture where the creative solutions are a joined responsibility together with our Creative Team, you will work closely together with both internal and external stakeholders in the development of all In-store and Visual Merchandising projects, and in general have a close cooperation with the Chief Marketing Officer, Chief Sales Officer and Heads of Sales, as well as the regional Brand & Marketing managers.

You will work out of Louis Poulsen’s HQ at Holmen, Copenhagen, next to KADK and several prominent design and architectural practices and refer directly to Chief Marketing Officer. You will also work closely as a team together with our Head of Brand Development Production and Copywriter / Brand Strategist, as well as CRM, Social Media managers and the entire Global Brand and Marketing Team.

Your profile

We are looking for a creative talented profile possessing the below qualities:
• You have 4-5 years retail experience from designing store concepts and elements to execution.
• Proficiency in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Knowledge 3D modelling, 2D, planogram, technical drawing and other similar digital store design tools and software.
• Fluent in English (verbally & written), Danish is a huge plus.
• Have an understanding and experience in luxury global brands.
• Creative and commercially aware, confident decision maker and good communicator across all levels including externally.
• Self-starter, independent but also a great teamplayer.

You are a designer by heart, hold demonstrable visual design skills and have at least 4-5 years of experience from a similar position – preferably from a company with an international outreach or an agency where you have worked with global clients. You excel in overseeing in-store and visual asset production, possess strong planning skills, and if you moreover have experience in rendering and 3D designs, it is a great plus. Furthermore, it is essential that you possess good English communications skills, verbally as well as written, and have an excellent understanding of visual concepts, styling and interior.

Personally, you are independent and innovative, and with impressing interpersonal skills across the organization, you are both highly social and professionally confident. At the same time, you are an inspiring and joyful team player who gets motivated by creating success with others. You show initiative and take responsibility for your own ability to deliver high creative standards, and are a fine combination of organized, flexible, honest and dynamic. Furthermore, you hold the ability to maintain cool and focused and meet deadlines even though the pace is high and the projects many.

With a natural drive, you are energetic and reliable and have a strong desire to challenge the status quo and to bring forward better and more innovative solutions. Lastly, you have a high interest in design, architecture and lighting and have a great approach in marketing within these creative spaces.
