The FINMAR Business Analyst role for WTW FINEX Commercial Southeast is an exciting opportunity to lead and support clients, insurance carriers, and broking teams in the placement of complex lines of insurance. You will join a dynamic and fast paced environment that will challenge you intellectually as a highly valued colleague on a diverse and inclusive team. You will have dual responsibilities for working within WTW systems and support brokers in their efforts to secure the best terms & conditions for Fortune 500 level clients.

The Role
• Organizes applications for renewal and new placements
• Submits applications for renewal and new placements with insurance markets on behalf of clients
• Participate in and adhere to FINEX FINMAR protocols to support a strategic approach to broking
• Understand and explain FINEX coverage
• Follows marketing strategy in conjunction with clients, including underwriter meetings and presentations
• Review and evaluate information to support the placement of client risks in the market
• Organizes Evidence of Coverage Packages
• Ensure contract certainty for all placements including following WEM placement guidelines
• Build strong partnerships with a broad range of organizations and stakeholders in the company
• Participate in program peer reviews where applicable
• Contribute to FINEX related product and service innovations
• Support FINEX brokers and associate brokers

Qualifications

The Requirements
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred
• Insurance broker’s P&C and surplus lines license required within first 90 days of employment
• Demonstrates knowledge of core insurance principles
• Ability to conduct research and understand basic finance, and accounting
• Self-starter, requires minimal supervision
• Project management skills
• Skilled at client service
• Proven leaderships skills
• Good listener
• Demonstrates knowledge of Insurance structures
• Technology acumen – ability to utilize technology-based record management systems; basic MS Office skills and familiarity with other relevant online tools
• Travel not required
