Specialist Children Looked After Nurse - Band 7

£49,178 - £55,492 Inc HCAS Per annum pro rata

37.5 hours per week (Full time 37.5 hours per week)

The successful applicant will support the team to carry out its statutory function which is promoting the health and wellbeing of children looked after.

To be professionally accountable for the delivery of standards of professional practice as set out by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC).

To undertake the role and responsibilities of Children Looked After for Bromley Healthcare as detailed in Looked After Children: roles and competencies of health care staff, Intercollegiate Document, 2020.

This includes health assessments that are out of the Borough.

To facilitate and support clinical practice relating to Children Looked After, which is consistent with current professional standards and promotes best practice.

To work in collaboration with service providers across the local health economy and with partner agencies within and outside of Bromley, to ensure that the health of children Looked After is a key priority for practice and service provision.

Compensation is contingent upon NHS experience and current banding/pay point.
