Role Title: Process Engineer
Location: Glascoed, Pontypool (Full-time onsite)
Hourly rate: £33 PAYE or £43.54 Umbrella
Duration: 12 Months
Role Summary: Join the team as a Process Engineer and lead the development of innovative manufacturing processes from conceptualization through to commissioning. This role is pivotal in enhancing our manufacturing capabilities, including system integration and process automation.
Responsibilities
• Develop and implement new manufacturing processes, overseeing all stages from integration to qualification.
• Serve as the primary contact for process-related queries within the team.
• Utilize PLC systems, preferably Siemens, and manage process assembly components.
• Apply statistical methods and six-sigma techniques to ensure process capability and control.
• Support continuous improvement by planning and executing process changes efficiently.
• Provide technical expertise during the tendering process and ensure compliance with safety... standards.
Core Skills & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field required.
• Proven experience in manufacturing in high hazard environments.
• Strong foundation in project and risk management with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice and Programmable Logic Control systems.
• Desirable: IOSH Managing Safety, NEBOSH Certificate, Green Belt Six Sigma certified.
