Requirements for Appointment
• Be an employee of Tharaka Nithi
• A Bachelor’s degree in Economics, or Economics and Mathematics, or Economics and Statistics from a recognized institution.
• Has an experience of a minimum period of Three 3 years;
• Shown merit and ability as reflected in work performance and results.
Duties and Responsibilities
The officer reports to the Director Budget and will be responsible for:
• Economic Planning;
• Coordination of Sector/ Departmental development plan;
• Review of Development Policy Strategies and programs;
• Carrying out statistical analysis;
• Coordinating activities of staff under him/her;
• Participate in a planning and project monitoring unit; and
• Any other duty that may be assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
