Our client is a friendly and supportive architectural practice that values creativity, collaboration and excellence. They have recently secured a number of new projects across the east of England, ranging from small-scale extensions to large-scale developments. They are looking for an architectural CAD Technologist to join their team and work on various residential schemes, using CAD software to produce high-quality drawings, models and visualisations. You will also have the chance to interact with clients, contractors and consultants, and to learn from experienced professionals in the field.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
• A relevant qualification in architectural technology or a related... field
• At least 3 years of experience as an architectural CAD Technologist, preferably in the residential sector
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and SketchUp, as well as other design software
• A good understanding of building regulations, planning policies and technical standards
• Excellent communication, teamwork and problem-solving skills
• A portfolio of previous work demonstrating your abilities and creativity
