We are looking for a Senior System Administrator for one of the European Institutions in Brussels. Candidates need to relocate to Brussels. Work permit is not provided.
Candidates need to be fluent in English. EU candidates from abroad are welcome to apply.
Interviews will be done through Teams, and travel is not required for the interviews. This role is open for contractors.
Tasks and responsibilities:
• Administration of DG-specific infrastructures, systems and services;
• Installation and configuration of system components and server softwares;
• Operating and monitoring of systems, servers and DBs;
• Incident handling and problem handling: preliminary diagnosis of software problems, coordination with the central IT departments (for hosting, DB management, etc.);
• Scripting and configurations of systems, servers and DBs;
