Our CIO area supports and facilitates a broad range of commercial activities across all of CIP’s funds and across our vast asset portfolio, including investment approvals & governance, investment strategies and portfolio asset allocations, offshore wind market and... technology development, supply chain strategies and energy management activities. The CIO area spans across six teams with currently +30 employees. You’ll join an ambitious group of highly skilled and motivated employees from broad backgrounds and various responsibilities that all work towards ensuring that we achieve our 2030 strategy.

Role

As a new Senior Manager, you will be based in Copenhagen and contribute to ongoing initiatives & developments in our Chief Investment Office and work across various region, cultures, and nationality. You will moreover be exposed to senior stakeholders across the different departments within the Investment Office, our different fund platforms, our network companies, and external counterparts.

Responsibilities will consist of, but are not limited to:
• driving and executing special projects and initiatives
• providing hands-on support to transform and implement business initiatives and monitor their progress
• steering and coordinating cross-fund / portfolio projects from origin to realization
• pinpointing and addressing core issues within business processes, evaluating risks when making decisions and identifying areas of improvement across the CIO area (incl. recommendations)
• being a member of and administrating the CIO management meetings
• produce and develop content for various leadership and partner meetings
• supporting our Chief Investment Officer with ad-hoc tasks and projects.

You

The work environment at CIP is fast paced, stimulating, global and demanding. We are therefore looking for a self-driven, collaborative, and analytical professional holding a relevant master’s degree within Economics, Finance, Business, or other related fields and a minimum of 5 to 7 years of relevant full-time professional experience, preferably within the infrastructure space, a utility or similar energy company or as an advisor to the latter.

Key qualifications include:
• Excellent quantitative and analytical skills and very strong attention to detail
• Strong commercial mindset and solid understanding of the value drivers and risks of investments in the energy infrastructure space
• Strong ability to work independently while still being a team player with a positive attitude and with the confidence to exercise judgement appropriately, engaging with colleagues at all levels of seniority
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English
• Ability to work well under pressure and take on responsibility
• Ability to synthesize information and prepare coherent and thoughtful presentation materials for internal and external stakeholders
• Substantial experience with Excel and PowerPoint.
