We are looking for a Senior Director - Head of Health Economics, who will have responsibility for leading a team of health economists engaged in selling and delivering consulting projects.

Our commercial strategy and HEOR practices have been integrating over the last 12 months and we have developed a set of integrated offerings leveraging diverse skills from across our teams including strategic market access and pricing consultants, Medical Writers, Systematic Literature reviewers, Health Economists and statisticians, HTA specialists, and Health Policy experts. Our Health Economics team provides key inputs and deliverables into the solutions we provide our biopharma and med tech clients.

• Market Access, HEOR & New Product Planning – helping clients define and execute market access and global... pricing strategy, Clinical Outcome Assessments, Health Economic Modelling, Systematic Literature Reviews, Health Policy Analysis, Product Launch and New Product Planning
• R&D – focusing on Discovery & Translational Science, Bioinformatics, and Regulatory Affairs & Intelligence
• Technology Consulting – delivering tech-enabled workflow, data integration, and custom-developed solutions to our clients.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, And Accomplishments…
• Demonstrated experience leading sales and delivery of HEOR consulting projects.
• Track record of managing a team of health economics professionals in delivery of consulting work.
• Experience of collaborating successfully across a mid-sized/large matrixed organization. Successfully builds relationships with key stakeholders and has a wide professional network. Finds areas that create friction and removes barriers.
• Demonstrates Clarivate’s values in their behavior as a leader internally and externally – Own your actions, Aim for Greatness, Value every Voice.
• Strong leadership skills proven through building alignment and setting organizational culture. Able to lead through challenging times and keep positive momentum during change and transformation.
• Exposure to working in an international environment which includes the US and Europe and comfortable communicating and engaging with clients from diverse countries and cultures.
• MSc in Health Economics or similar preferred
• Demonstrated experience with Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) with a particular emphasis on health economic modelling, including extensive practical experience in leading implementation of cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses for global headquarters and/or key markets.
• Ability to lead and manage teams to execute global projects.
• Strong understanding of and experience with statistical methods underlying health economic models
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Expertise in communicating HE findings in various forms of communication, (e.g., peer-reviewed publication, abstracts and conference presentations, global value dossiers)

What will you be doing in this role?...
• Work closely with the sales teams to lead client business development and client relationship development across our key client accounts.
• Support the growth of HE modeling service line, increase awareness of Clarivate Consulting capabilities in HE modelling, and inform our clients’ perception of our value proposition in HE modelling.
• Be seen as a go-to person across the team for methodological advice and quality assurance.
• Consistently deliver quality client services and drive high-quality work products within expected timeframes and on budget.
• Foster an innovative and inclusive team-oriented work environment.
• Drive collaboration across our different commercial, HEOR and R&D consulting teams to define and deliver integrated offerings.
• Meet practice financial goals around sales, revenue, margin.
• Build a thought leadership strategy and approach to help promote our brand at conferences and industry events, and through other channels.
• Work closely with the Consulting Operations and Finance team to drive operational excellence across the organization and manage the practice across standard operating metrics (e.g., Book to Bill ratios, backlog, resource utilization, pipeline health and conversion, win rates). This role will be responsible for owning all quarterly financial forecasts.
• Stay abreast of current business and industry trends relevant to our clients’ businesses.
• Inspire and motivate teams to help grow and retain talent through coaching and development at all levels.
