HOUSEKEEPER (Tobago) The jobholder will provide cleaning services, to rooms and lobby area according to the Guest House standard. The housekeeper will ensure guests are treated with courtesy and maintenance deficiencies are reported to the relevant authority. This position supports the general resort operations by maintaining resort quality standards. Key Responsibilities Maintains and sanitizes all guestrooms as required in accordance to established cleanliness standards Performs daily, detailed cleaning of all guest rooms, public areas that is the office and administrative areas, washrooms and lobby as assigned. Ensures maintenance of an adequate supply of necessary linen, equipment and material and communicate shortages immediately. Liaises with the Front Desk in keeping room status reports current through the notification of all arrivals, departures, room moves, special requests, stay-overs and room availability. Organizes and replenishes all stationery, furnishings, supplies and... amenities in guestroom according to established standards. Qualifications / Technical Knowledge & Experience CXC or GCE ‘O’ Level passes inclusive of English A / School Leaving Certificate At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar or related job Must be able to safely use chemicals for cleaning purposes. Must be able to work on a shift system, weekends and Public Holidays Must reside in Tobago
