Deloitte is looking for a commercial consultant for the Technology & Fast-Growing Companies business areas. The position will cover all of Denmark and primarily focus on the segments Technology & Fast-Growing Companies.

Job Description

Deloitte’s strategy is to be the undisputed market leader within Technology and Fast-Growing Companies. We are, therefore, looking for a commercial consultant who can assist these two segments with ongoing market persuasion, strategic development, and internal and external execution within these two business areas. Our current brand in these segments is strong, and our future ambitions make great demands on our employees to understand our clients and build value for them. Therefore, a large part of the job consists of relationship building and identifying needs as well as supporting a professional sales process in close cooperation with our business units and their many stakeholders.

We seek the ideal commercial role candidate in connection with Deloitte’s desire to be an attentive discussion partner to existing and potential clients. Deloitte is looking for a commercial profile who can move across the business, primarily engaging in audit, tax, and other classic services within Deloitte’s wide range of services, and also special services developed in the two segments, such as fundraising, start-up in new markets, cyber, M&A, development of the finance and accounting function, etc.

Deloitte also wants to develop the two segments further, promote our brand in the market, and contribute to the Danish ecosystem of growth companies. Therefore, the position will also include marketing, event planning and execution, and structured sales and market promotion across the country.

The job

You are expected to be able to work independently and closely with others on the team and to drive the different stages of the sales process toward existing and potential clients within the Technology & Fast-Growing Companies segments.

Tasks
• Development of and support for the Technology & Fast-Growing Companies segments.
• Market identification, pipeline generation, canvassing, client visits, proposals, negotiations, and client care.
• Execution of events within the ecosystem of growth companies, as well as events for the Technology segment.
• Business development through the identification of market demand and development needs.
• Maintaining and developing existing client relationships and establishing new relationships with potential clients.
• Formulation and execution of business plans and preparation of sales plans for potential and existing clients.
• Market monitoring in terms of the market situation and competitive position.
• Attending and developing material for in-house market segment meetings, external network meetings, and events.
• Building a proven internal network across Deloitte’s various departments and supporting Deloitte Fast-Growing Companies nationwide.

Qualifications

The right profile may have experience from other commercial roles with solid relationship-building skills, but this is not vitally important. You also possess strong communication skills in writing and speech and preferably have experience in CRM reporting.

In addition, significance is placed on the following characteristics:
• You thrive in social relations, are outgoing, and possess the ability to work with structured market promotion and relationship building.
• You have a natural desire, curiosity, and interest in the client’s needs. You are, therefore, unafraid to ask questions and are able to structure a conversation that naturally helps the client identify, show, and prioritise needs and challenges.
• You are unafraid to kick in the door and want to build relationships within the client’s organisation. You do this with your positive personality, strong communication skills, and desire to establish a good and long-lasting collaboration between the client and Deloitte.
• You are commercially minded and motivated by creating business opportunities and achieving results with the client and Deloitte.
• You take the initiative and are eager to learn. Over time, you are expected to take on independent responsibility and be the driving force behind strategies and sales processes for your clients in close cooperation with relevant players at Deloitte.

This is a combined role in which you will be part of our Technology & Fast-Growing Companies teams. You will interact with larger, established Danish tech companies and help support the next Danish unicorns.
