Position: Communication manager for research projects 80-100%

The Research Institute of Organic Agriculture FiBL in Switzerland is one of the leading global research centres for organic farming, promoting excellence for sustainability. FiBL has offices in Switzerland, Germany, Austria, France and Belgium. The communication group within the Department of Training, Extension and Communication at FiBL Switzerland provides a variety of media services for the institute and for the organic sector in general.

FiBL communication publishes magazines and newsletters, it designs and hosts websites and produces manuals, leaflets and other materials for various target groups in Switzerland and internationally. Furthermore, it manages dissemination and communication in many international projects related to sustainable agriculture.

For the Department of Extension, Training & Communication to start at June 2024 we are looking for a qualified
Your responsibilities
• Plan, manage... and track communication and dissemination activities mainly for EU-wide agricultural research projects
• Coordinate with project partners to produce a range of dissemination materials e.g. factsheets, videos and social media posts
• Proactive management of websites and social media accounts in the field of agriculture
Your profile
• You have project management skills
• You have a strong interest in organic agriculture. Education and/or experience in agriculture is a strong asset
• You have an excellent command of English;
German is an asset
• You have very good writing, communication and editing skills in English
• You are a self-organised and self-motivated worker
• You have experience or are interested in learning website and social media management
• You are willing to travel internationally 1-2 times per year
