JOB MISSION:

Based on global and regional merchandising guidelines to prepare merchandising assortment plan for the market to achieve brand and business goals. Analyzed competitors, market trend, sell in, sell-through to support the merchandising line plan and forecast.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
• Based on global & regional merchandising guidelines, commercial and brand needs to prepare merchandising assortment planning for Hong Kong and Macau markets.
• Provide seasonal merchandising forecast to Demand Planning and... regional merchandising team based on past sales figures and trends throughout the season to anticipate future product needs.
• Set competitive pricing and monitor GM to achieve company business goals.
• Handle purchasing process, work closely with operations and finance team to ensure the buys complete on schedule and submit to NBIL.
• Work with operations, merchandising, marketing and commercial team to prepare monthly product plan.
• Prepare seasonal purchasing review meeting.
• Collect sales data and generated analytic reports to monitor merchandise performance.
• Product data management: create and maintain product information and data base. Ensure an update and structured product master.
• Sample management: place sample orders and monitor the shipments. Manage and co-ordinate with samples usage for internal teams and provide sample tracking.
• Assist tradeshow preparation and showroom set up.
• Ensure that on-order and committed receipts are delivering on time to support forecasts and sales.
• Support other ad-hoc projects as assigned by managers.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
• Bachelor's degree holder preferably in business, fashion management or textile.
• Around 3 - 5 years merchandising and product planning experience in sports, apparel / footwear industry is a must.
• Passion in sportswear with good market sense and eager to learn.
• Strong analytical and well organized.
• Excellent data analysis and excel skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skill.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook.
• Knowledge in analytics tools is a plus.
• Energetic, self-motivated, detail-oriented and independent working style
• Excellent communication skills in speaking and written of English, Cantonese & Mandarin
