We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Business Development and Sales Executive with a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in selling software solutions tailored specifically to the diverse needs of educational institutions. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the intricacies of the sales process, demonstrating proficiency in lead generation, relationship... building, and closing deals. Proactiveness, multitasking ability, and a proactive approach are essential traits for success in this role. Prior experience in the healthcare sector, particularly as a nurse/ health professional, will be advantageous, as it provides a unique perspective on the needs of educational institutions in the healthcare domain.


Business Development:
• Conduct extensive market research to identify and evaluate potential clients within the educational sector, focusing on understanding their unique business needs, pain points, and aspirations.
• Utilize a combination of inbound and outbound lead generation strategies, including networking events, cold calling, email campaigns, and digital marketing initiatives, to generate a robust pipeline of qualified leads.
• Develop and maintain a database of prospective clients, keeping detailed records of interactions, opportunities, and key insights for effective follow-up and relationship management.

• Cultivate strong and long-lasting relationships with prospective clients, utilizing consultative selling techniques to gain deep insights into their challenges, objectives, and decision-making processes.
• Conduct thorough needs assessments and solution demonstrations, showcasing the value proposition of company products and services in addressing the specific needs and goals of educational institutions.
• Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring the successful conversion of opportunities into revenue-generating contracts, while maintaining a focus on maximizing profitability and client satisfaction.

Client Retention:
• Proactively engage with existing clients to understand their evolving needs, preferences, and satisfaction levels, identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and ongoing relationship enhancement.
• Introduce new products and services to existing clients, providing comprehensive support and guidance throughout the implementation and adoption process to ensure maximum satisfaction and retention.

Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement strategic sales plans and initiatives to penetrate new markets, expand the company's footprint within the educational sector, and achieve aggressive growth targets.
• Establish and nurture relationships with key stakeholders, including decision-makers, influencers, and industry associations, to drive business growth, foster collaboration, and create opportunities for strategic partnerships.

Willingness to Travel:
• Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and participate in sales meetings and conferences.


Minimum of 5 years’ progressive experience in sales, with a proven track record of success in selling software solutions to educational institutions.
• Previous experience in the healthcare sector, particularly as a nurse, is highly desirable, as it provides valuable insights into the unique challenges and requirements of educational institutions in the healthcare domain.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with a demonstrated ability to deliver engaging and persuasive presentations to diverse audiences.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and familiarity with industry-specific analysis software.
• Strong analytical skills and business acumen, with the ability to identify market trends, assess competitive landscapes, and develop strategic sales plans that drive revenue growth and market expansion.
