Qualifications:· Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education or a related field.· Valid teaching license/certification in special education – RCI mandatory· Minimum 2 years experience in school / institution (group sittings as well as one – on – one)· Experience working with students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities and/or behavioral challenges, children AS WELL AS adults.· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, families, and community partners.· Primary language of communication should be ENGLISHKey Responsibilities:Assessment and Evaluation:· Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students' strengths, challenges, and learning styles.· Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to review student records, including Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), and gather relevant information to inform instructional planning.· Use a variety of assessment tools and strategies to... monitor student progress and adjust teaching methods accordingly.·Instruction and Differentiation:· Design and implement personalized learning strategies and interventions to address students' individual needs and promote academic growth.· Adapt curriculum materials and instructional techniques to accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.· Provide direct instruction in academic subjects, social skills, and life skills, as appropriate.Collaboration and Consultation:· Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and administrators to develop and implement inclusive practices that meet the needs of all students.· Consult with parents/guardians to discuss student progress, share strategies for supporting learning at home, and address any concerns or questions.· Communicate regularly with external service providers, such as therapists and counselors, to coordinate services and support student success.Professional Development:· Stay informed about current research, best practices, and legal requirements related to special education.· Participate in professional development opportunities, workshops, and conferences to enhance knowledge and skills in special education.· Engage in ongoing reflection and self-assessment to continuously improve instructional practices and student outcomes
