Our Netherlands office is looking to recruit an Internal Accountant to be part of our internal Finance team.

You will report into the Head of Finance Netherlands who is part of our local Management Team. You will work on a full range of finance projects and processes and act as a... resource for colleagues and less experienced team members.

In your day to day activities you will work with a tight team of Finance experts and Business Analysts to ensure financial control and process improvements. You will collaborate with a multitude of departments within and outside of the Netherlands and support in coordinating the work of our Global Service Centre (GSC).

Key responsibilities
• Direct involvement in the daily and monthly accounting processes of all Dutch entities;
• Creation of the annual financial statements;
• Making recommendations regarding process and efficiency improvements, particularly with a focus on systems and tools;
• Support the Finance Director and Business teams in producing insight in financial developments of clients and products for the entire NL business;
• Interact daily with colleagues across the organization to ensure that management can rely and steer on data;
• Respond in a timely and professional manner to the requests and questions from internal clients;
• Actively provide support and involvement for various internal projects, if needed.

Key Requirements
• Completed BSc+ degree in Finance, Commercial Economics, Accounting;
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience in internal Accounting and/or Bookkeeping;
• Knowledge of IFRS and Dutch GAAP;
• Experience in handling of large quantity of data and usage of BI tools;
• Experience with SAP Hana is beneficial;
• Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively across various internal and external functions;
• Communication and partnering skills;
• Excellent command of the English language, verbal and written;
• Full of energy – positive and driven personality;
• Hands-on mentality;
