Amazon Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) has an immediate opening for a Senior APM Manager to join our EAM/APM team to deliver a world-class technology solution to manage our impressive asset portfolio. We are looking for a leader that will drive change across the organization, stay ahead of financial, operational and compliance risks, and strengthen our control environment.

This position supports and directly influences our Worldwide Operations across the Customer Fulfillment, Transportation and Logistics, and Physical Store business units. It requires tenacity, organization, and long-term thinking for both outcomes and risks.

This leader will work closely with operations, finance, accounting, tax, tech, and other... teams to deliver and represent the program team to various stakeholders. In this role, the candidate will be part of a team that collaborates with business finance and technical teams to deliver world class solutions that are highly scalable, secure, and flexible. This person will have operated successfully in a fast-paced, global, results-oriented environment. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial, as well as ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, problem-solve, scope business requirements and prioritize.

Successful candidates have experience in accomplishing unusually complex challenges in an ambiguous environment. They have a proven record of successful projects to implement Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliant requirements and general ledger projects.

Key job responsibilities
• Define, prioritize and plan the execution of strategic initiatives.
• Consult with senior management on cross-group project prioritization.
• Ensure delivery of assigned organizational goals.
• Schedule and secure resources and manage cross-functional teams to deliver to these goals.
• End to end responsibility for the execution and success of all assigned programs.
• Monitor progress against goals: anticipating risks, resolving issues and initiating corrective action as appropriate.
• Track delivery against program objectives and implement proposals to improve program services and efficiency.
• Develop, own and track organizational goals, as defined through Operational Planning (OP) process. – Communicate progress and work with teams with dependent programs.
• Establish, refine and implement mechanisms to ensure cross functional alignment and establish clear escalation mechanisms.
• Identify and manage stakeholder groups, and provide regular business reports to those groups.
• Act as a knowledgeable resource, sharing best practices in project management and program management.

Basic Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree
• Experience on Infor (Hexagon) EAM software package including: enterprise software configuration, dashboard development using Cognos, Business Objects or SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reporting tools.
• Significant experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
• Significant experience in program or project management
• Significant years of experience delivering cross functional projects
• Strong writing skills and attention to detail

Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with fulfilling SOX compliance requirements for IT systems and implementing general ledger
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations and drive actions
• Experience communicating with senior management (Director level decision-makers)
• Experience in product, program, and/or project management in leading cross-functional teams to continuously improve the business and define what is next
• Experience managing defining and delivering cross-functional initiatives through influence versus direct management
• Experience supporting operations, finance, or accounting customers to set and effectively manage expectations, project deliverables, and drive resolution when conflicts or issues arise
