Job description: Within Immigration Enforcement, our Criminal & Financial Investigation (CFI) teams play a vital role nationally in tackling immigration crime, as part of a multi-layered UK law enforcement approach. Working closely with partners in the National Crime Agency, territorial policing and... many other agencies and departments, our CFI Teams are at the forefront in tackling serious and organised immigration crime. The Private Office within CFI provides corporate and business support to the Director of CFI and Senior Managers. This is a unique opportunity for you to play a key role in the smooth running of a high-profile and fast-moving area of the business. Supporting the Private Office Manager and SEO OCG Disruptions and Reporting Lead, you will be required to manage a wide range of tasks that will often be urgent, complex, and sensitive. You must therefore be able to build a sound, high level knowledge of the business as well as be adaptable, calm under pressure, be able to handle a range of issues with diplomacy and discretion. This role would suit a calm, organised and discreet individual who would be confident in working independently, and oversee the flow of requests directed to the Private Office. This post provides an excellent opportunity for the successful candidate to develop within a support role, and would suit someone who is interested in gaining a wider understanding of CFI, and Immigration Enforcement. Please note there is no shift working requirement, and therefore no AHW/AHA allowance available for this role. Please also note that due to the nature of the work and the geographical area, some travel to ad hoc meetings by official vehicle will be inevitable and applicants must have a full valid UK manual driving licence
