Job Purpose

To create and compile management and strategic reporting; that aligns to the strategic intent; through qualitative and quantitative research and analysis; and synthesis ofinsights into recommendations that enable sound business decisions; as per Nedbank business strategy.

Job Responsibilities
• Produce reports / presentations as required by Wealth Management South Africa Strategy Executive and consolidate input from multiple sources and stakeholders.
• Report and present effectively the key findings in an appropriate way to the audience for them to execute decisions accordingly.
• Attend to various information requests from Cluster, Group and business wide to assist with... decision-making, reporting, etc.
• Provide support to WMSA Strategy Executive by researching and providing insight on various topics and/or issues.
• Conduct market research to understand competitor environment and market trends in wealth management for use in strategic planning and business reports. Leverage external research providers where appropriate.
• Assist with the tracking and reporting of progress against key strategic initiatives in collaboration with Divisional stakeholders.
• Assist with the preparation of the Wealth Management SA Business Plan, related performance agreements and performance appraisals.
• Attend Mancos and various Divisional meetings to enhance understanding of the business. Build and manage relationships with collaboration stakeholders across the Division.
• Stay abreast in field of expertise and build capability of self through identifying current and future training and development needs.
• Oversee governance of key Strategic deliverables.
• Optimise processes relevant to the role and assist with the coordination of engagements to continually improve customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to a culture conducive to the achievement of transformation goals by participating in Nedbank Culture building initiatives (e.g. staff surveys etc).

Essential Qualifications - NQF Level
• Advanced Diplomas/National 1st Degrees

Preferred Qualification
• NQF Level 6: Business, Finance/Accounting, Analytics, Engineering, Project Management.

Minimum Experience Level
• Minimum of 5 years' work experience of which at least 3 years in banking, financial advisory or investments environment.

Technical / Professional Knowledge
• Business reporting and performance tracking experience
• Ability to identify and benchmark key performance metrics
• Understanding of financial accounting principals and budgeting (banking experience would be an advantage)
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of products (Excel, Powerpoint, Word, Teams, Outlook)
• Exposure to using Power BI dashboards to obtain information
• Basic principles of strategic planning
• Understanding of Risk and Governance principles
• Basic project management/delivery
• Understanding of Client Value Propositions
