To support our rapid growth, we're seeking a marketing manager with a broad skill set to own our community engagement across social media and online events, including our partnerships with influencers and other brand advocates. You'll work across both brands to grow audience reach, build brand awareness, and drive... website traffic. With over 452,000 social media followers and 40 million annual post impressions, you'll be a key driver of our business growth. You'll get wide exposure across the business, working closely with all of our teams to source campaign ideas, execute customer engagement campaigns, and identify the highest impact initiatives. CORE ROLE OBJECTIVES & RESPONSIBILITIES Engage new audiences through social media and community marketing to generate interest in our volunteer and intern abroad programs, and drive high quality traffic to our websites. Define our social media strategy by platform to maximise audience reach, build brand consideration, and drive high quality traffic to our websitesMaintain a content calendar and formulate messaging plans, sourcing high quality UGC content, images, videos, and testimonials from our customers for postsWork with the graphic and video design team to develop custom content where requiredSchedule all posts and respond to comments and direct messages, liaising with program managers where necessaryMonitor use of relevant hashtags across platforms to engage in relevant third party conversations and identify new campaign opportunitiesAssess the performance of all posts to develop a deep understanding of what content performs best on each platformLead our social influencer and brand advocate strategy, including identification of suitable partners and development of mutually beneficial collaboration plansSpearhead the strategy for growing follower volumes across each platformManage all online events, including webinars with prospective customers, and lead the development of presentation contentLead the strategy for growing customer review volumes on TrustPilot, GoAbroad, Go Overseas, and other review sitesUse GA4, social platform reporting, and our internal CRM platform to deliver regular metrics reporting on the impact and value from all community engagement activities.YOU'LL BE A GREAT CANDIDATE FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE... Extensive hands-on experience running social and community engagement marketing for prominent B2C brands across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, SnapChat, Pinterest, and other emerging social platformsProven track record in building brand awareness, consideration, and engagement through community engagement marketing campaignsDeep understanding of social media best practices and platform differencesExperience of sourcing and engaging with social media influencersData driven approach to performance measurement, including expert usage of Google Analytics 4 to track campaign impactExceptional accuracy and attention to detailFriendly, collaborative and can-do attitudeStrong work ethic and proven ability to work independentlyExperience or interest in overseas travelABOUT US International Volunteer HQ is the world's largest volunteer travel specialist.
